Nicolai Bergmann's ASAMA KUZANBO draws the curtain on the 5th anniversary of its opening with a floral installation created by the artist himself that resonates with the nature of Mount Asama.

2026年4月26日（日）に迎える開業5周年を記念し、世界的フラワーアーティスト ニコライ・バーグマンによる特別なフラワーデザインプロジェクトを実施しました。このコラボレーションをはじめとする開業5周年企画のコンセプトは「空と山と、五感が、息づくあさま、その奥へ。」に決定し、皆様に感謝を伝えてまいります。

　本プロジェクトでは、ニコライ・バーグマン自身が現地を訪れ、施設の空間や自然環境を直接感じながら、客室やラウンジ、レストランなど複数の空間にフラワーインスタレーションを制作。浅間山の雄大な自然と調和する、ここでしか見ることのできない特別な空間演出が実現しました。

■大自然の空間から着想を得た特別なフラワーデザイン

　今回の装飾では、施設のモノトーンを基調としたインテリアに映える紫をベースカラーとして採用。力強い枝物や温もりある木の器、またニコライ・バーグマンがオリジナルで制作した有田焼の器などを組み合わせることで、花と器、そして空間の調和を追求しました。施設を取り囲む浅間山の自然環境と一体となるデザインが随所に施されています。

■緻密な手作業による制作プロセス

　作品制作では、アジサイなどの花を一輪ずつワイヤリングしたり、葉をループ状に巻き、ピンセットで配置したりするなどの細かな手作業によって、生花のような生命力あふれるデザインが作り上げられています。こうした制作工程の約8割は、東京のスタジオで行う下準備に費やされ、現地では空間に合わせた最終的なデザインを仕上げています。

■浅間山のシルエットを表現した限定フラワーボックス

　開業5周年を記念し、特別デザインのフラワーボックスも制作されました。箱の側面には浅間山のシルエットをモチーフにしたデザインが施され、花だけでなくパッケージ全体で自然とのつながりを表現しています。作品には約20種類の花や葉が使用され、どの角度から見ても美しく見える丸いフォルムを大切にしたデザインとなっています。
