At our facility, staff members from Nepal welcome guests every day. Driven by a desire to do what we can—even in small ways—to support Nepal, the homeland of our colleagues, we focus our support activities primarily on the 天空柁イニング initiative.
■ 天空柁イニング “Charity Lunch to Support Nepal”
During this period, our on-site restaurant, "Tenku Dai Dining," will be offering the following curry set as a "Charity Lunch to Support Victims of the Nepal Mudslide Disaster."
<チャリティランチ対象メニュー> ・Nepalese Chicken Curry with Sora Yama Nozomi's Special Spice Blend ・Nepalese-style Vegetable Curry ・Minced Beef Curry Made Exclusively with Matsusaka Beef
*All sets come with the Tsumakoi Highlands Salad and homemade fermented lassi.
Lunch menus start at 1,350 yen (tax included) per meal. For each meal, 300 yen will be donated by あさま空山望 to support disaster-stricken areas in Nepal. We are also now offering a snack set featuring premium Nepalese beer and papadum (1,100 yen, tax included; 200 yen of which will be donated).
Every dish you enjoy while taking in the views of Mount Asama and the natural beauty of Kita-Karuizawa helps support disaster-stricken areas in faraway Nepal.
We will also place donation boxes in 天空柁イニング and the lounge. We will ensure that all donations received from you are carefully delivered to support the disaster-affected areas.
During the period through October 30, 2026, our facility will make donations to support disaster-affected areas based on the number of reservations for stays at あさま空山望.
We would be delighted if you could support this initiative through your dining and stay with us. The donations we have received from all of you, along with financial assistance from our facility, will be delivered to the disaster-stricken areas through the Nepalese Embassy in Japan.

■ASAMA KUZANBO 5th anniversary of opening

Throughout the year, we will continue to offer experiences that allow you to enjoy the nature and seasons of Kita-Karuizawa with all five senses. We look forward to your visit.
To commemorate the 5th anniversary of its opening on Sunday, April 26, 2026, a special floral design project by world-renowned floral artist Nicolai Bergmann was implemented. The concept for this collaboration and other projects to mark the 5th anniversary of the opening of the hotel is "Asama, where the sky, the mountains, and the five senses come alive, and beyond. and we would like to express our gratitude to all of you.
For this project, Nicolai Bergmann himself visited the site and created floral installations in several spaces, including guest rooms, lounges, and restaurants, while directly feeling the space and natural environment of the facility. The result is a special spatial presentation that can only be seen here, in harmony with the majestic nature of Mount Asama.
■Exclusive floral designs inspired by natural spaces
For the decoration, purple was chosen as the base color to reflect the monotone-based interior of the facility. By combining powerful branches, warm wooden vessels, and Nicolai Bergmann's original Arita porcelain vessels, we sought to harmonize the flowers, the vessels, and the space. The design is integrated throughout with the natural environment of Mount Asama that surrounds the facility.
■Exquisite manual production process
In the creation of the work, flowers such as hydrangeas are wired one by one, and leaves are looped and arranged with tweezers, creating a life-like design. About 80% of the production process is spent in preparation at the Tokyo studio, and the final design is created on site to suit the space.
■Limited edition flower box featuring the silhouette of Mt.
A specially designed flower box was also produced to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the opening. The sides of the box are decorated with a design featuring the silhouette of Mt. Asama, expressing the connection with nature not only through the flowers, but also through the entire package. Approximately 20 different types of flowers and leaves were used in the artwork, which was designed with an emphasis on round forms that look beautiful from any angle.
