■ASAMA KUZANBO 5th anniversary of opening

Throughout the year, we will continue to offer experiences that allow you to enjoy the nature and seasons of Kita-Karuizawa with all five senses. We look forward to your visit.
To commemorate the 5th anniversary of its opening on Sunday, April 26, 2026, a special floral design project by world-renowned floral artist Nicolai Bergmann was implemented. The concept for this collaboration and other projects to mark the 5th anniversary of the opening of the hotel is "Asama, where the sky, the mountains, and the five senses come alive, and beyond. and we would like to express our gratitude to all of you.
For this project, Nicolai Bergmann himself visited the site and created floral installations in several spaces, including guest rooms, lounges, and restaurants, while directly feeling the space and natural environment of the facility. The result is a special spatial presentation that can only be seen here, in harmony with the majestic nature of Mount Asama.
■Exclusive floral designs inspired by natural spaces
For the decoration, purple was chosen as the base color to reflect the monotone-based interior of the facility. By combining powerful branches, warm wooden vessels, and Nicolai Bergmann's original Arita porcelain vessels, we sought to harmonize the flowers, the vessels, and the space. The design is integrated throughout with the natural environment of Mount Asama that surrounds the facility.
■Exquisite manual production process
In the creation of the work, flowers such as hydrangeas are wired one by one, and leaves are looped and arranged with tweezers, creating a life-like design. About 80% of the production process is spent in preparation at the Tokyo studio, and the final design is created on site to suit the space.
■Limited edition flower box featuring the silhouette of Mt.
A specially designed flower box was also produced to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the opening. The sides of the box are decorated with a design featuring the silhouette of Mt. Asama, expressing the connection with nature not only through the flowers, but also through the entire package. Approximately 20 different types of flowers and leaves were used in the artwork, which was designed with an emphasis on round forms that look beautiful from any angle.

We will begin offering the Spring Celebration plan on March 13 (Fri.) to celebrate new beginnings in life, such as graduation, enrollment, and employment.
Celebrate an early spring with family and friends
Mount Asama is beautifully capped with snow, and the clear March light is pouring down. Around the villa, the buds of butterbur sprouting from the melting snow and the flowers and grasses beginning to sprout are quietly announcing the arrival of spring. When you step into the villa, you will be welcomed by the early signs of spring with a soft fragrance. The air of "rebirth" and "blessing" of the spring season surrounds you as you celebrate the milestones of your life.
All of the villas are independent and completely private spaces where you can spend time without worrying about your surroundings. The villas can be used as a place to stay to celebrate various "gateway events" in your life, such as a graduation or entrance ceremony for three generations, a milestone for a couple, or even a time to celebrate with your beloved dog.
■"Cherry Blossom Ceremony" welcome gift with the fragrance of spring and the language of flowers
The Cherry Blossom Ceremony welcomes you with aromas, colors, and flavors unique to spring, such as cherry blossom aromas and spring-colored toasts. Cherry blossom-scented aromas will be burned in the guest rooms to create the comfort of spring through the sense of smell. For the celebratory toast, a cherry blossom-colored rosé wine will be served, and for those who prefer a non-alcoholic toast, a matcha latte and cherry blossom sweets will be available, allowing guests to experience the splendor of spring through both sight and taste.
In addition, as a welcome gift, we will prepare a message card in the language of flowers. If you choose a theme for your celebration at the time of reservation, such as entrance, graduation, employment, or 60th birthday, we will deliver a card with the language of flowers appropriate for the scene to your room. This is a great way to surprise your loved ones with your unspoken thoughts and feelings.
■"Forest Memorial Photo & Movie Session," a commemorative photography option that captures the brilliance of a moment in time on video
This year, the "Family Portraits in the Forest" photography activity has added a new activity: video photography. A dedicated photographer will carefully capture memorable spring scenes, such as soft spring sunlight, natural smiles of family and friends, and moments of conversation, and will later send you a short movie edited in a format that can be posted on social networking services.
The temperature and atmosphere of the place, which cannot be conveyed by still images alone, are recorded as they are, along with the natural beauty of Mount Asama. The images will capture the gentle, spring-like mood of a group of friends on a graduation trip or a family moving on to a new path, and will be preserved as a milestone moment.
Spring Memorial Cuisine at only one Polaris Villa per day in a private space.
Dinner will be a "Memorial Cuisine" of spring produce. Chefs from Polaris Villa will be on hand in the kitchens of Polaris Villa to prepare a special course meal featuring local ingredients that come into season with the arrival of spring.
