First time held in Karuizawa area! Autumn Foliage Concert Report with Your Dog: A Special Moment at "ASAMA KUZANBO"
2024年10月12日と13日、紅葉の始まりかけた北軽井沢の一棟貸しヴィラリゾート「あさま空山望」併設レストラン「天空柁イニング」テラスにて「あさま空山望presents愛犬と楽しむ紅葉コンサート」が開催されました。このあさま空山望初となるコンサートイベントにご来場いただいた皆さま、そしてインスタライブでご視聴いただいた皆さま、心よりお礼申し上げます。紅葉に彩りはじめた浅間高原の中で、愛犬と共に音楽を楽しむという新しい体験が実現できましたことをこちらでご紹介させていただきます。

軽井沢エリアで初開催！愛犬と楽しむコンサート
軽井沢はペットに優しい街として知られ、愛犬と訪れる観光客も多く、ペット同伴が可能なカフェやレストラン、宿泊施設も年々増えています。しかし、愛犬と共にコンサートを楽しむイベントは今回が初めての試みでした(※)。開催前には「愛犬たちが音楽をどのように感じるのか」「吠えたり興奮したりしないだろうか」と心配もありましたが、浅間山を望む紅葉の中で迎えた当日は、多くの愛犬家の皆さまとわんちゃんたちが静かにアンサンブルに耳を傾け、豊かな秋の自然の中で穏やかな時間が流れました。(※2024年10月時点)
What is the concert program and how are the dogs actually doing?
Under a clear autumn sky, at an altitude of over 1,100 meters above sea level at "天空柁イニング," dog-loving violinist Momoko Arai and others opened the concert with a cello and piano trio. The first piece played was "Greeting of Love. The elegant melody was carried by the autumn breeze, and the dogs seemed relaxed as they listened to the music.
The next song performed was "LINO," an original composition by Mr. Arai. This song was written based on the theme of Mr. Arai's beloved dog "LINO," who was also present at this event, and is characterized by its soft and loving tone. The audience was filled with a warm atmosphere as the song conveyed the deep affection for the beloved dog. Owners of dogs were also listening attentively to the song as if they were comparing it to their own beloved dogs.

The audience was also treated to seasonal tunes such as "Song of Rain" and "Morning of Melting Snow," which made the dogs smile as they relaxed and nodded their heads to each piece. Mr. Arai, who says that music and his dog are the treasures of his life, said during the MC that he wanted to share the enjoyment and charm of classical music with everyone and their dogs, and also performed the famous classical piece "Canon. The classical music that spread in harmony with the beautiful autumn leaves created a special moment for dog lovers, and the entire venue was enveloped in a peaceful and warm atmosphere.

The second half of the concert featured the piece "KUZANBO" which was composed with inspiration from this year's venue, "ASAMA KUZANBO". This piece expresses the magnificent view of Mt. Asama, the rich nature of Kita-Karuizawa, and the special atmosphere of "ASAMA KUZANBO" that brings healing and tranquility to visitors. This melody, echoing against the backdrop of Mt. Asama in the evening sun, evokes the joy of spending time in nature with your dog, and many visitors expressed their desire to come back again.

The finale was the classical masterpiece "Czardas. The audience was filled with smiles and excitement as the dogs cuddled peacefully to this rhythmical and gorgeous piece of music.

In between concerts, the attractive facilities of "ASAMA KUZANBO" were also introduced for visitors to enjoy with their dogs and pets. The hot-spring facility "Tenkusu Spa" is a special space where visitors can refresh themselves while feeling the nature of Kita-Karuizawa, with an open-air bath and sauna using Asama natural water from Mount Asama, which can also be enjoyed as a day trip. Furthermore, the facility is equipped with a dedicated dog run where dogs can freely play, making it an attractive facility for visitors as well.

Mr. Arai himself experienced the villa and dog run with his dog, LINO, and stated that he was glad to have a place where he could spend time with his dog. It was an opportunity to further convey the appeal of ASAMA KUZANBO's abundant nature and facilities as a place where you can create memories with your dog.
Charity Concertwas donated to the animal welfare organization "Casa
The concert was held as a charity event for CAHSA, an animal welfare organization, and all participation fees were donated to support the activities of shelter dogs and cats. CAHSA is active mainly in the Kansai region, and with your cooperation, we were able to contribute to their efforts to save the lives of animals. We also prepared special souvenirs for visitors to give to their dogs.

The "Autumn Foliage Concert with Your Dog" was a great success and was well received by many visitors. ASAMA KUZANBO plans to continue to offer events and special programs for dogs and their families to enjoy, bringing you and your dog time with the beauty of nature that varies with each season.
